“Dr. Frank is my favorite doctor and mentor. She actually practices what she preaches. Her depth of knowledge about food and health is outstanding and she once took me on an incredibly informative field trip to the grocery. I have used her helpful, realistic pointers for years.”

“Emily has a passion about being a physician, but her real passion is to teach you how your body responds to what we eat. How we eat and at what intervals we eat in can make you feel worse because the way we combine our diet without thinking about what our body is needing. Emily’s commitment to her passion will motivate you to have the desire to learn the skills needed to make a change in your life that you never knew could be possible. Emily is dynamic and full of energy to share what she had found not only as a physician but as a women to feel like you can accomplish your true goals and desires.”

“I owe Dr. Emily Frank the current quality of my life. That’s the bottom line.
I have had issues with my ears, nose and throat since birth. The first of multiple surgeries in a futile effort to correct those issues was when I was three years old. I can’t count the number of surgeries that I have had (primarily on my ears). Nor can I recall the names of all of the doctors that I have seen for the balance issues that plagued me for the first fifty years of my life. I did all of the things that I was instructed to do, took all of the drugs that they had prescribed and endured every torturous test that they suggested, all to no avail. In fact, things were getting progressively worse and I was well on my way to becoming an invalid. I spent fifty years (likely well more than half my life) beating my still spinning head against a brick wall.
I remained frustrated and my spirits began to lag over my rapidly deteriorating condition. My sister insisted that I schedule an appointment with Dr. Frank. I was reluctant to go through the same drill with yet another doctor, one who wasn’t even an ENT. It was only when she asked me to go as a personal favor to her that I scheduled the appointment that ultimately changed my life. Within minutes I knew that this was not going to be a repeat of the same old, useless drill. Emily listened very carefully and immediately set into motion a series of events that set me on a path toward normalcy. I will still always have the anatomical abnormality that underlies my vertigo, but I now have an effective means of treating the cause rather than just masking the symptoms.
Dr. Frank also treated my teenaged daughters. They specifically requested that she be their primary care doctor because of her easy rapport, thoroughness and the trust and confidence that they had in her. Their trust was very well placed. She treated my eldest for a massive case of Mono. As soon as Dr. Frank received the results of her blood tests and saw that she was potentially in danger of rupturing her spleen if she took any kind of a bump or blow to her abdomen, Emily PERSONALLY tracked me down on her day off to tell me to keep her at home and off of her feet. Years later, she treated my middle daughter for what appeared to be some kind of lymphoma or leukemia. She saw her on a Friday, got her in to see a plastic surgeon (who would take tissue samples to biopsy) Saturday morning, managed to get an entire crew of people to come in before all of their other previously scheduled surgeries on the following Monday morning. And, she even hand picked the pathologist who later HAND DELIVERED the biopsy results to me at my home (all good news).
Emily has a mind like a sponge and whenever something arises about which she lacks personal experience, she is very resourceful in getting the information that she needs in record breaking time. She is a very active and careful listener, which accounts (in part) for her superb diagnostic skills. She communicates very clearly and directly, and she is quite engaging whether she is speaking one on one or addressing a large group . She is thorough, reliable, highly competent and passionately loves her work.
Dr. Frank holds herself to a very high standard. I credit her directly with giving me back a life that is worth living. She claims that she was just doing her job. She may have only been doing her job, but she does it like none other!”
